Does this really look like something we need??

The present of your presence

We added this page because there have been a few questions about wedding gifts. The gift we would most treasure--and it's a big one, so we apologize if we're being presumptuous--is to have you at our party. It's the ideal kind of gift: an adventure that we all get to enjoy together; memorable; unique; fattening; intoxicating. It's just our size, it's exactly what we wanted!

However, we have been advised that not providing any more options at all may cause some anxiety. We are living in different cities at the moment, and (a perk of marrying later in life) we mostly have what we need. But here are some ideas.

First of all, we love cards. We especially love cards with photos of you in/on them. After the party, if you are able to attend, we will likely have photos of you; but we also like the idea of having some photos of our friends and family that are of their own choosing, not ones the photographer snapped after the fifth tequila.

If you are still fretting about coming without a gift, we have come up with an option. If you want to help us go on a honeymoon (tentatively, Rome and Greece this Spring), help us buy a house (wherever that ends up being), or help us keep flying back and forth to be together (every month!), we have opened a bank account in our name. Actually, a PayPal account, which makes it easy to contribute quickly and safely online. You can make a deposit of any amount by clicking here. (This only works from the US; if in Mexico, please go to this page.) It's ok if you don't have a PayPal account--you can use a credit card or bank account (on the lower left, where it says "Don't have a PayPal account?", click "continue"). Please make sure to tell us who you are and add a message by clicking "click here and tell us who you are" on the second screen. Clicking "return to merchant" will take you back to our website.

Keep in mind that anything you bring to Mexico for us, we will have to bring back to the US in a suitcase, and store in apartments that are only slightly bigger than suitcases. No pianos please.
