Welcome
Well, I haven't updated the site in quite a long time. But, there has been big news since I last I posted anything here. Linda and I have gotten engaged. Hence the nifty photo montage at right. These were the only four decent pictures of Linda and me together I could find. Lots of good pictures of Linda... but in most photos I'm sweaty and drinking. Imagine that. To answer the common questions, we were engaged on September 3rd, we've been dating for a long time, and yes Linda could do better. So, we're engaged, and the wedding is on Sunday, May 29th. It will be at the Darlington House in downtown La Jolla, with a reception following. More details (and my God you wouldn't believe how many details there are) will be on the wedding page of this site as they are made available. Mostly I'm just waiting to be able to tell you all where to go to buy me the kitchen stuff I'm going to register for. Oh, in other news, you may have noticed I haven't updated the Dining Blog much lately. Partly it's laziness, partly I haven't gone to a whole lot of new restaurants lately, and mostly I'm trying to finish a PhD which turns out to be rather time consuming.
